Job summary

GameStop in the United States is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations and lead a retail team to achieve sales and profitability targets. You will drive guest service excellence, manage inventory, scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention while delivering an engaging gaming-focused shopping experience.

Responsibilities include leading a multi-unit team, training staff, executing promotions, coordinating omni-channel orders, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required; 3+ years of retail sales/guest service/leadership preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in a multiunit capacity and manage store operations.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Support visual and operational elements and promote promotions.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS accurately.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Schedule staff, approve payroll, and manage breaks and meals.
• Ensure store is neat, organized, and merchandise is represented.
• Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and manage inventory counts.
