Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Retail Merchandise Associate to market products to guests and maintain the retail area. The role includes stocking inventory, handling cash/credit transactions, and providing exceptional guest service while adhering to all gaming policies.

Candidates must be 21+, able to work holidays and weekends, and have prior cashiering or retail experience. Knowledge of Indiana Gaming Commission rules is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashiering/money handling experience in fast-paced environment or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Markets retail merchandise to guests.
• Stock and re-stock the Retail area to ensure an adequate inventory of all goods.
• Perform cash and/or credit transactions with guests.
• Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures - including precheck and cashiering procedures.
• Ensures guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
