Job description

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and observe table game dealing procedures, payoffs, and activities to ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor and observe slot machine procedures, payoffs, and activities to ensure compliance with internal control procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor and observe Sportsbook procedures, payoffs, and activities to ensure compliance with internal control procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conduct audits of the internal controls to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations.
  • Interact with the public to address complaints.
  • Observe drop and count functions.
  • Report discrepancies, violations, or possible crimes to management and other appropriate authorities.
  • Prepare written incident reports that may be used as evidence in court or criminal prosecutions.
  • Testify at court proceedings as required.
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Three years of experience in a position enforcing gaming regulations, primarily monitoring gaming activity between the public and casino staff, or involving investigations and the preparation of information and evidence usable in civil litigation or criminal prosecution.

  • An associate’s degree may substitute for up to one year of the required experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree may substitute for up to two years of the required experience.
  • A specialized associate’s degree may substitute for two years of the required experience.
  • A specialized bachelor’s degree or higher may substitute for three years of the required experience.
