Job summary

Colonial Downs Group is seeking a Team Member to service guests, pay hand-pay jackpots, and perform minor repairs on HHR machines on the gaming floor.

This Virginia-based role offers $11.00 per hour plus tips, with opportunities to engage guests and support gaming operations across our venues.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, six months of related experience, and the ability to obtain a racing license, with potential for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent guest service skills in a high-volume environment, preferred.
• Knowledge of gaming operations, rules, and regulations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete department paperwork and data entry with correct signatures.
• Maintain HHR machines and perform preventative maintenance during downtime.
• Protect confidentiality and comply with company policy and state regulations.
• Know all HHR machines and determine proper payouts.
• Ensure gaming devices are operating properly and request assistance when needed.
• Promote player card usage on the gaming floor.
