Job summary

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Vinton is seeking a Gaming Attendant to service guests, pay hand-pay jackpots, and perform minor repairs on HHR machines. The role requires excellent communication and guest service skills in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months experience in a related field preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

Responsibilities

• Serve and build relationships with guests.
• Pay hand-pay jackpots.
• Perform minor repairs on HHR machines.
• Maintain correct paperwork and data entry (jackpot slips, tax documents, guest forms).
• Ensure HHR machines and components are properly maintained.
• Protect confidential information and adhere to policies and state regulations.
• Know all basic Virginia Racing Commission rules and regulations.
• Promote player card usage and maintain terminal paper levels.
• Call for technical or supervisory assistance when needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
