Walk-Ons in Huntsville, AL is seeking a friendly Server for part-time, non-exempt shifts. You will handle seating, take orders, serve food, manage To-Go orders, and assist with POS transactions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and meet state alcohol service requirements.
• Read training materials, complete testing, and follow English instructions.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but training is available.
• Stand, walk, and carry trays up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
• Strong communication and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and gameday events.

Responsibilities

• Show up ready to play - arrive on time, in uniform, and with a positive, team-first attitude.
• Welcome guests with a smile, seat them efficiently, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, suggest menu items, and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Follow Walk-Ons steps of service to exceed guest expectations every shift.
• Run food, clear tables, maintain clean dining areas, and assist teammates.
• Handle takeout orders and ensure To-Go guests receive meals accurately and promptly.
• Process payments, handle cash, and operate the POS system.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant for business.
• Keep the dining area clean - tables, floors, and guest areas, while staying friendly.
• Support coworkers and management to keep the team winning.
