Job summary

Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux is seeking a part-time Server to deliver championship-level service in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, take orders, run food, handle takeout, and assist with ensuring a clean, welcoming dining room.

The role requires reading training materials in English and complying with alcohol-service rules. Prior restaurant experience is a plus, training is provided, and evening/weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and meet all state requirements for alcohol service.
• Able to read training materials, complete testing, and follow instructions in English.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required; we'll train the right teammate.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, carry trays up to 25 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible schedule—nights, weekends, and gameday events.

Responsibilities

• Show up ready to play - arrive on time, in uniform, and with a positive, team-first attitude.
• Welcome guests with a smile, seat them efficiently, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, suggest menu items, and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Follow Walk-Ons steps of service to exceed guest expectations every shift.
• Run food, clear tables, maintain clean dining areas, and assist teammates.
• Handle takeout orders and ensure To-Go guests receive their meals accurately and promptly.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies - maintain any required state bar cards.
• Process payments, handle cash accurately, and operate the POS system.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant for business.
• Keep the restaurant clean - tables, floors, and guest areas - while staying friendly and upbeat.
• Jump in to support coworkers and management with any tasks needed to keep the team winning.
