Job summary

Greenleaf Hospitality Group in Kalamazoo is seeking a student-oriented team member to support game-day promotions for Kalamazoo Wings home games. You will collaborate on promotional themes, help with in-game entertainment, and assist with event setup, scripts, and time outlines.

You should be pursuing a college degree in Sport Management or related field, with strong communication skills to present ideas to staff, partners and guests. Prior sports or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a college degree in Sport Management, Sports Marketing, Sales or related field.
• Ability to present and share information among groups, staff, partners and guests.
• Experience in sports, live entertainment events or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on planning and executing promotional themes for Kalamazoo Wings home games.
• Create game-day scripts and event time outlines with the Game Operations & Community Relations Manager.
• Assist with production and execution of in-game promotions and activities including setup/tear-down.
• Coordinate participants, entertainers and Kids Club activities; oversee concourse engagements.
• Establish relationships with business partners involved in game-day promotions.
• Assist Wings Event staff with distribution of promotional handouts and coupon initiatives.
• Provide high level customer service and hospitality at Wings Event Center events.
• Support sales staff with execution of game-day fan experiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
