Job summary

The University of South Florida is seeking an Athletics Assistant- Game Day Worker/Event Management to support our athletics operations on home game days and special events in the Tampa area.

As a temporary team member, you will assist in game day operations, including scorekeeping, statistics, video board management, and coordinating with officials and staff. A Level 1 background check is required, and previous athletics experience is valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience in athletics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage game day functions such as scorekeeping, statistics, shot clock, and running game sheets.
• Operate DVSport tech and scoreboard systems as needed.
• Assist PA announcer and coordinate with staff and officials.
• Communicate effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
