Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in the United States is seeking a Galvanizing Technician to operate equipment that cleans and prepares metal objects for galvanizing. You will handle cranes, racks, and chemical baths, ensuring parts meet quality standards while following strict safety rules.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environment with conditions including cold, heat, noise, and dusts.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to add and subtract using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to wear PPE (metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs).

Responsibilities

• Load objects on cranes and racks to pass through chemicals and rinsing baths.
• Examine cleaned objects to ensure standards are met.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards to Team Leader.
• Work overtime and weekends as required to meet customer needs.
