Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in Lindsay, NE is seeking a Welding Technician I to join our manufacturing team. You will perform welds on aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys, and spot weld components for assemblies. The role requires reading blueprints and measuring parts to ensure proper layout.

You must be able to pass a weld test, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with PPE; AWS certification is a bonus. This is a full-time on-site position at Lindsay, NE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with PPE.
• Professional Certification (e.g. AWS welding) will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld on aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to meet strength and pressure specs.
• Spot weld various parts and weldments preparatory to assembly.
• Read blueprints, align, and fit components for final assembly.
