Hyatt Place Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, OH is hiring a Gallery Host to join our front desk and breakfast team. You will welcome guests, support check-ins, and help maintain a welcoming breakfast atmosphere throughout the service period.

The Gallery Host will ensure cleanliness of public areas, assist with guest requests, and provide friendly, efficient service to create memorable experiences for guests staying at the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or Front Desk preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We are hiring a Gallery Host!

As a Gallery Host, you are an essential part of creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience at Hyatt Place. This is a versatile, guest-facing position that supports the Front Desk, Breakfast, and Gallery while ensuring our guests receive friendly, efficient, and genuine hospitality throughout their stay.

The Gallery Host is responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with Front Desk operations, preparing and maintaining the breakfast experience, and keeping the Gallery and public areas clean, organized, and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service throughout the guest experience.
• Assist with Front Desk operations, including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, payments, and guest requests.
• Prepare, set up, stock, and maintain the breakfast area and food and beverage presentation.
• Ensure the breakfast area remains clean, organized, well-stocked, and guest-ready throughout the service period.
• Maintain the Gallery and public areas to Hyatt Place cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist guests with questions about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, dining, transportation, and other area recommendations.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and replenish supplies throughout the Front Desk, Breakfast, and Gallery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, policies, and local attractions.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and hotel operating standards.
• Assist with additional hotel operations and duties as assigned.
• Create memorable guest experiences by anticipating guest needs and demonstrating genuine care and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, restaurant, customer service, or Front Desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel operating systems.
• Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and work effectively under pressure.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
