Job description

Overview:

A Kolter Hospitality Gallery Host delivers service excellence to our guests, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position is responsible for processing check-ins and check-outs, issuing room keys, and resolving guest issues, all while complying with Kolter Hospitality and Hyatt Place standards, policies, and procedures.

Performance Expectations
  1. Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
  2. Coordinate all guest requests.
  3. Inform guests of hotel services, features, and room amenities.
  4. Welcome the guest by name whenever possible.
  5. Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean, and provide quality beverages and food products, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  6. Set up and break down meeting spaces.
  7. Prepare food for meetings/events.
  8. Follow the hotel’s rate structures, discounts, and sell/upsell strategies.
  9. Perform cashiering tasks like bill/invoice settlement, posting charges, and adjustments.
  10. Know and carry out duties in response to fire alarms, guest medical emergencies, and security threats.
  11. Cancel room reservations according to policy.
  12. Report any items in need of repair.
  13. Follow all safety procedures while working.
