Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of total work-related experience.
• Outgoing, friendly and customer service-oriented.
• Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with visitors and enforcing museum policies.
• Exhibit confidence when communicating museum policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a courteous, friendly and informative attitude.
• Actively participate in training programs to improve knowledge of the museum and security.
• Maintain order in assigned areas and address inappropriate behavior.
• Serve as initial responder in emergencies and contact a supervisor when needed.
• Provide information to students and visitors during hours and events.
• Handle welcome desk duties: greeting, iPad check-in, and calls.
