Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Special Events Manager to lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts on-site in Midtown Manhattan. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in event planning or related fields, with a focus on flawless execution and donor stewardship.

Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime to support events. The position is a long-term temp with potential temp-to-perm, offering an hourly rate up to $54.94 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5+ years in event planning, fundraising events, donor relations, hospitality, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of fundraising and donor cultivation events.
• Cultivate and maintain donor relationships with board members, donors, and senior leadership.
• Coordinate donor outreach and communications.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics including vendor relationships, budgeting, and guest experience.
• Support major initiatives such as galas and intimate donor engagement events.
