Parallel in Gainesville, FL is hiring Cultivation Technicians for a new facility. This entry-level role supports plant care, propagation, harvesting, sanitation, and regulatory compliance in a fast-growing cannabis operation. You will work 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, four 10-hour days, at $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and able to follow detailed instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED required; strong organizational skills a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to record data accurately.
• Effective communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to perform repetitive cultivation tasks and measurements.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily cultivation activities across all plant stages.
• Assist with propagation, pruning, watering, and IPM practices.
• Maintain environmental conditions and sanitation in cultivation areas.
• Take cuttings, assist with cloning, and support harvesting processes.
• Operate cultivation equipment and perform general labor tasks as needed.
• Participate in trials, collect data, and document observations.
• Ensure compliance with seed-to-sale regulations and safety standards.
