Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join the Global Fund Services, supporting the Fund Administration team. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing financial statements and related disclosures to ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance for client shareholders and the SEC.

Collaboration with auditors is essential. Ideal candidates possess a bachelor’s in accounting or finance with 1–2 years of experience; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• CPA preferred or candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and support packages for client shareholders and the SEC to comply with GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on reporting processes.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide training and technical guidance to new staff regarding changes in regulations and procedures.
