Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank invites a graduate student to join its 2027 Winter Internship Program in Washington, DC. This paid internship, in a consultant modality, offers on-the-job learning and exposure to corporate management of the Bank.

You will support monthly and quarterly financial statements, assist with reconciliations, and contribute to audit-related tasks under US GAAP while collaborating with a diverse team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in Accounting or Business Administration with graduation after internship.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills; able to present concise papers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements under US GAAP.
• Assist in reconciliations of cash, interfund, and admin accounts.
• Prepare schedules, research docs, and ad hoc audit support tasks.
• Conduct accounting analyses and conduct research under US GAAP.
