Aurora Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day general financial accounting and provide analyses in line with U.S. GAAP. You will close monthly books, support audits, and help enhance accounting policies and internal controls across the organization.

Collaborating with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, Legal, HR, and IT, you will contribute to accurate reporting and process improvements while ensuring timely financial data for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Typically 3 years of accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP and government rules.
• Familiarity with Workday and Epic BI systems.

Responsabilités

• Performs monthly closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepares financial statements and reports in line with GAAP.
• Assists in policy development and internal controls.
• Reviews areas for process improvement and implements changes.
• Provides responses to internal and external auditors.
• Responds to ad-hoc reporting and special assignments.
• Monitors and implements internal controls over areas of responsibility.
• Prepares tax returns and schedules with Tax team.
• Keeps knowledge updated through education and professional networks.
