Baker Tilly is seeking a GAAP Compilation Consultant to join our Public Sector Advisory group. This role serves state and local governments, school districts, utilities, and other entities across the United States, handling data processing for GAAP financial statements and related reports.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA eligibility preferred, and experience with GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB. Travel is limited, and the firm offers a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA eligible preferred.
• Experience providing attest services in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB auditing standards.
• Strong communication, public speaking, client service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Process client data for inclusion in GAAP financial statements and related projects.
• Identify accounting and reporting issues based on professional guidelines.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Develop client relationships and deliver superior service.
• Engage in recruiting activities and refer experienced professionals.
• Demonstrate teamwork, ethics, and professional demeanor.
• Assist with compilation of Schedule of Federal Expenditures.
