Job summary

INTERNATIONAL BANK OF COMMERCE in Laredo, TX is seeking a Foreign Exchange Wire Specialist I to provide FX wire services, quote currencies, and negotiate rates for clients in a fast-paced office. You will use English and Spanish to serve customers, process wires accurately, and support FX traders as part of the Foreign Operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; prior sales or office experience a plus.
• Strong English and Spanish communication; customer service oriented.
• Ability to process wires and understand foreign exchange basics.

Responsibilities

• Delivers FX wire service to customers and prospects.
• Provides daily currency exchange market rates to clients.
• Negotiates exchange rates with customers/prospects.
• Creates FX quotes and initiates wire processing.
• Provides verbal disclosures to comply with regulations.
• Assists Foreign Exchange Traders; performs other duties as assigned.
