Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Payments Control Vice President within Global Foreign Exchange Operations to oversee high-volume payment processing, validation, and due diligence of payment instructions across FX and FXO products. You will collaborate with banks, prime brokers, and corporate clients to ensure secure, accurate fund transfers and mitigate risk.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and leverage data analytics to optimize the payment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of settlements experience with FX, derivatives, or payments operations.
• Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficient data analysis for decision-making and process improvements.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams in matrix environments.
• Excellent communication and emotional intelligence in diverse settings.
• Attention to detail, accountability, and integrity in settlements and processing.
• Willingness to work global hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume payment processing and validate global currency transfers.
• Process payments for FX products with verification and client investigation.
• Identify and resolve procedural issues or errors to mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and client teams across locations.
• Detect and prevent payment errors to protect the institution.
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives to improve quality and customer experience.
• Coach and mentor team members to uphold high service standards.
• Interface with other operations teams to resolve inquiries and escalations.
• Learn and apply skills in innovation, product knowledge, and AI for process improvements.
