Job summary

Banco Santander SA is seeking a CIB Markets Analyst for Emerging Markets and Foreign Exchange Institutional Sales in the United States. The role supports the Sales team, develops market understanding, and coordinates client coverage activities to drive revenue and opportunities.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience or education.
Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented in a fast-paced Sales & Trading environment.
Comfortable decision-making under pressure with strong accuracy and responsiveness.
Demonstrated interest in global financial markets and trading strategies.

Responsibilities

Support Sales team in daily activities and client relationships.
Develop understanding of fixed income and forex products across markets.
Respond to pricing inquiries and assist in transaction execution.
Coordinate client meetings, roadshows, and follow-up on opportunities.
Ensure accurate booking of transactions and monitor P/L for compliance.
Oversee lifecycle of trades including reconciliation, clearing, and settlement.
