Job summary

Banco Santander SA in the United States seeks an experienced Agency CMBS Associate to join the CIB Markets desk. You will price and execute transactions, analyze relative value, monitor risk, and provide timely market color to clients.

You will collaborate with senior traders, sales, and risk teams, build models and dashboards in Excel, and contribute to hedging strategies and new‑issue analyses. Requires 2+ years in Sales & Trading and applicable FINRA licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, CS required.
• 2+ years of Sales & Trading experience; Agency CMBS or securitized products preferred.
• FINRA SIE and Series 7/63 within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Price and execute Agency CMBS transactions and provide market color.
• Analyze relative value, monitor risk, and track new issuance.
• Develop hedging strategies and support desk with analytics tools.
• Collaborate with Sales, Research, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
• Maintain accurate marks, positions, and trade bookings.
