This role will interact across different areas of the markets business to gain experience and assist with the day-to-day functions of the business. This person should expect to collaborate with different areas SCIB as a whole. The role will include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities: * Providing comprehensive support to the Sales team in daily commercial activities, contributing to the development of client relationships, identification of new business opportunities, and overall revenue generation.* Developing a deep understanding of fixed income and foreign exchange products across emerging and developed markets* Participating in client coverage activities, including responding to pricing inquiries, assisting in transaction execution, monitoring trade activity, and ensuring timely follow-up on client requests.* Coordinating and participating in client meetings, investor roadshows, and other commercial initiatives, including agenda preparation, meeting logistics, follow-up activities, and tracking potential business opportunities.* Overseeing the accurate and timely booking of transactions, reviewing trade confirmations, monitoring daily P&L, and identifying potential discrepancies to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory procedures and controls.* Monitoring transactions throughout their lifecycle, including reconciliation, clearing, and settlement processes, ensuring operational efficiency and the timely resolution of outstanding issues.* Identifying opportunities to streamline recurring workflows and contributing to the development and implementation of automated solutions aimed at improving efficiency, reducing manual intervention, and minimizing operational risk. **What You Bring:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
