Job summary

Quinnipiac University is seeking an Alumni Relations Assistant to support campus alumni engagement efforts from the Alumni House. The role involves event logistics, communications with alumni and volunteers, and helping plan major events on campus.

This Federal Work Study position requires strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the Advancement team on projects and outreach during Bobcat Weekend and other events.

Qualifications

  • Federal Work Study eligibility required.
  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Zoom, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are important.
  • Creative mindset with willingness to learn new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • General administrative and project support for the Alumni Relations team

Hours of Position
  • 10–15 hours per week, based on the student’s class schedule
  • Office of Advancement hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Some evening or weekend availability preferred for major alumni events
  • Work takes place at the Alumni House on main campus
