This Federal Work Study position requires strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the Advancement team on projects and outreach during Bobcat Weekend and other events.

Qualifications

  • Federal Work Study eligibility required.
  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Zoom, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are important.
  • Creative mindset with willingness to learn new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Event preparation including assembling materials, organizing supplies, and supporting logistics
  • Mailings, emails, and acknowledgements to alumni and volunteers
  • Phone outreach to alumni volunteers, event venues, and partner organizations
  • Venue exploration and research during event planning
  • Benchmarking: tracking alumni engagement strategies at peer institutions and preparing updates for Brittany
  • Representing Alumni Relations at the Involvement Fair and Commencement Fair
  • Supporting alumni events during Bobcat Weekend (October 2–4)
  • General administrative and project support for the Alumni Relations team
