Job summary
Macquarie Group in Chicago is seeking an Associate, Brokerage within the Commodities and Global Markets Operations team to support execution services, strengthen controls, and reduce operational risk across futures and options.
You will partner with front, middle, back office, technology, compliance and legal to review workflows, identify control gaps, and drive initiatives that improve the brokerage operating model.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a U.S. FCM or similar in futures and options ops.
- Deep knowledge of futures and options products, execution services, and trade lifecycle.
- Experience identifying control gaps and improving processes.
- Ability to partner with front/middle/back office, tech, compliance, and legal.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Oversee key operational controls related to brokerage revenue streams and agency payment arrangements.
- Partner with front office, clearing, operations, technology, compliance and legal to ensure efficient, controlled processes.
- Review workflows, identify control gaps, and drive initiatives to improve the brokerage operating model.
- Support FIA Docs documentation and assist with related accounts payable activities.
