Job summary

Macquarie Group in Chicago is seeking a Futures Business Solutions Analyst to support day-to-day operation of critical Futures systems, working with Operations, Technology, and Exchanges.

You will troubleshoot issues, manage static data, and help deliver improvements that reduce risk and increase efficiency while aligning with regulatory reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience supporting financial markets, futures, derivatives, or trading operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate production issues and identify root causes.
• Experience gathering business requirements, supporting UAT, and participating in system implementation projects.
• Understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, risk mitigation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of critical Futures systems and processes, partnering with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain client, product, and exchange static data.
• Contribute to reconciliation and control frameworks, reporting processes, and automation to reduce risk.
• Serve as liaison between Operations and Technology to deliver scalable solutions.
