Job summary

Macquarie Group in Chicago seeks an Associate, Brokerage to support execution services and strengthen controls across futures and options. You will partner with front office, middle office, back, and technology teams to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and scale operations in a global environment.

You’ll review workflows, identify control gaps, and drive initiatives to enhance the brokerage operating model while supporting documentation and accounts payable activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within a U.S. FCM or comparable global organization in futures and options operations, middle office, market operations, or brokerage support functions.
• Strong understanding of futures and options products, execution services, brokerage operations, and full trade lifecycle.
• Experience identifying control gaps, improving operational processes, and implementing efficiencies in regulated financial services.
• Ability to partner with front office, middle office, back office, technology, compliance, legal, and clearing teams to deliver solutions.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational controls related to brokerage revenue streams and agency payment arrangements.
• Partner with front office, clearing, operations, technology, compliance, and legal teams to ensure efficient, well-controlled processes.
• Review workflows, identify control gaps, and drive initiatives to strengthen the brokerage operating model.
• Support FIA Docs documentation and accounts payable activities.
