Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Surprise, AZ. This role supports the Store Manager, develops Teammates, and leads sales, merchandising and operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The Assistant Manager position builds on the Assistant in Training track and shares duties across coaching, training and store leadership, with a focus on delivering Buckle’s mission and standards in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in retail sales and guest service is preferred.
• Ability to lead, train and motivate teammates in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, guest service and operational standards across the store.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; assist Store Manager in leadership.
• Oversee visual merchandising, floor resets and stock management.
• Support store operations including opening/closing procedures and LP guidelines.
• Provide feedback to leadership and ensure high level customer experience.
