Job summary

Buckle in Grandville, MI is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to drive guest service and sales on-site. You will partner with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train, and motivate Teammates, while stepping into leadership duties in the Store Manager’s absence.

The role progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with shared duties across merchandising, operations, and customer engagement to create an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; retail experience a plus.
• Able to lead by example and coach teammates.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and guest service, greeting guests and guiding purchase decisions.
• Assist in training and developing Teammates; may cover shifts.
• Backstock, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation.
• Follow store policies and Loss Prevention practices.
