Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on commercial construction projects. You will ensure field supervision has materials, equipment, and information to complete the scope, while protecting the interests of the company and its subcontractors.

The role involves preparing submittals, coordinating with vendors, expediting schedules, and maintaining logs. Strong communication, scheduling and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field with 3+ years experience or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project software (Procore/Viewpoint)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Must be able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist SPM/PM in permits, proposals, submittals and change orders
• Review specifications and drawings for subcontractor scopes
• Prepare and distribute project RFIs and submittals
• Manage procurement for materials and equipment
• Create and maintain project schedules and tracking reports
• Coordinate meetings with clients, subcontractors and vendors
• Assist with closeout documentation and turnover packages
• Support site safety and client communications
