Cara Irish Pubs seeks a friendly server to warmly welcome guests from entry to departure, provide menu guidance, and assist with ordering from the POS on their phone while processing payments on a handheld device.

You will set tables, keep the dining area clean, and maintain a professional appearance while working multiple shifts and upholding alcohol service policies. This role emphasizes teamwork and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must have proper legal identification.
• Must possess alcohol awareness certification.
• Reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and climbs stairs.
• Able to operate point-of-sale system.
• Walk, stand, and move about briskly during entire shift.
• Reading and writing skills are required.
• Requires quick thinking and assembly of food orders.
• Requires audible communication and hearing skills with employees and guests.

Responsabilités

• Assist guests from entry to departure and provide menu guidance.
• Advise on menu selections and assist guests with ordering from the POS on their phone.

  Responsible for assisting guests from the moment they enter our pub until they leave in a multitude of ways. We are a team here and expect the server to assist coworkers as well as every aspect of the pub.

Reporting Relationship

The server reports directly to the manager on duty.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that the service stations are fully stocked and kept clean and tidy.
• Attention to detail and thorough knowledge of the menu.
• Set tables and prepare the pub before opening.
• Meet and seat guests when the host is not on duty.

Serve guests with the following:

1. Giving advice on menu selections.
2. Assist the guest with ordering from pos system on their phone.
3. Serve & clear service items from the table.
4. Help the guest make a payment on their phone or if needed collecting payment on the handheld device.

• Clear tables after service, disinfect properly, and reset for the next guests.
• Ensure the dining area is kept clean and sanitized at all times
• Close and clean the dining area and ensures that it is ready for the next day.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty.
• Adhere to all state and local laws, policies of the pub, regarding the service of alcohol.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, professional demeanor with pub guests and employees.
• Keep self-neat, clean, and in proper uniform at all times.
• Abide by all pub policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to sell, eye for detail and a team player.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
• The ability to work multiple shifts.
• Physical agility and dexterity of both hands.
  Compensation: $15.97 per hour
