Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking an Assistant Center Director to support the Center Director in operations, student learning plans, and outreach to families. This position emphasizes both instructional leadership and sales responsibility to enroll more students.

You will lead tutoring sessions, coach staff, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment while adhering to the Mathnasium Method. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing learning plans.
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and enrolling students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
• Lead and coach team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Manage students' learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Mentor and support employee development by on-the-job training for staff.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid delivery using Mathnasium Method terminology.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students

• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Manage students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium MethodTM terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
