Job summary

Mathnasium of Clarkston is seeking an Assistant Center Director to support the Center Director, identify student needs, respond to leads, enroll students, and coach staff. This part-time role offers after-school and weekend hours, with a rewarding leadership opportunity and ongoing training in education, sales, and management.

Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, with a supportive culture and opportunities for advancement within a thriving math education environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
• Passion for math and working with students
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance diverse responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 1

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in identifying student needs and opportunities and developing customized student learning plans
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
