Job summary

Axios is seeking a reporter to become the subject matter expert on the future of transportation and mobility. You will explain the forces shaping the industry, from Silicon Valley to Washington and beyond, and explain how policy, tech and markets interact.

You’ll anchor the Future of Mobility newsletter, break big stories, and provide distinctive analysis of executives, policymakers, and companies across the mobility ecosystem. Strong writing and stage presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reporting in a fast-paced news environment.
• Ability to land big scoops and conceptualize big ideas.
• Strong writing skills for online content and newsletters.
• Excellent verbal and written communications abilities.
• Ability to command a stage and conduct live interviews.
• Collaborates effectively across teams to produce high-quality content.
