You will frame power as the connective tissue between AI, manufacturing, climate, economics and politics, become the authority on the big trends shaping our electric future, and own the voice of Smart Brevity in our newsroom.

Qualifications

  • Experience reporting in a fast-paced news environment.
  • Proven ability to land big scoops and conceptualize big ideas.
  • Strong writing for online content and newsletters.
  • Ability to command a stage and conduct live interviews.
  • Experience working across teams to produce quality content.
  • Commitment to building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Axios Future of Energy daily newsletter and special sends focused on topics related to electricity.
  • Become our public authority on stage and in other venues to illuminate these important issues.
