Job summary

McLane is seeking a General Manager Designate I to lead a distribution facility within the McLane Restaurant division. You will learn from a senior leader and progressively take on responsibility for operations, financial performance, compliance, customer satisfaction, and teammate development.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 10 years of distribution/transportation leadership, and experience as top leader of a warehouse or transport operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10 years of progressive distribution center and transportation leadership experience.
• Three+ years as top/senior leader with overall responsibility of warehouse/transportation operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility operations and drive performance across departments.
• Shadow senior leader and lead special projects and divisions as needed.
• Develop and implement operating plans to meet performance targets.
• Build and maintain customer relationships with the division, leadership team, and corporate staff.
• Promote safety, open communication, and teamwork across the organization.
