Job summary

Pinnacle Senior Living, part of The Pennant Group, is seeking experienced leaders to join its CEO-in-Training program to learn how to lead a senior living community. This hands-on experience covers day-to-day operations across assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings.

The initial leadership development portion lasts about 12 weeks, with the possibility to stay longer based on development needs and opportunities. Location options include multiple western states as described.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, logistics, operations, or a related field.
• Experience hiring, developing, and leading teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of taking ownership and delivering results.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to learn the senior living industry.
• Willingness to relocate based on available leadership opportunities.
• Ability to obtain any required state licensing, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside an experienced Executive Director/CEO.
• Learn the day-to-day operations of an assisted living, independent living, or memory care community.
• Work with department leaders and frontline employees.
• Learn how staffing, customer experience, clinical services, compliance, and operations come together.
• Gain experience with financial and business performance.
• Lead projects and work on real operational challenges.
• Build relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners.
• Learn the state regulations and requirements that apply to senior living.
• Receive ongoing coaching, feedback, and support as you develop your leadership skills.
