Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop leadership skills across our business and prepare to run a branch. This full-time program provides exposure to customer service, sales, inventory, logistics, and branch operations.

During the MIT, you will complete extensive training modules, gain hands-on experience, and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit while delivering exceptional service and operating with integrity.

Qualifications

• Prefer a 4-year BS in Marketing/Sales or Business.
• Two years of industry experience in Building Materials or related field.
• Two years of work experience in a professional setting.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation and enthusiasm for the business.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service/ Counter Sales Training will be completed.
• Residential and Commercial Product Training completed during MIT.
• Inventory Management & Cost Control training modules.
• Logistics & Warehouse Management training modules.
• Branch Manager Training to prepare for ownership opportunities.
• Outside Sales Training and Leadership Training during the program.
