Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor of building materials, seeks a Manager in Training (MIT) at its Nashville location. The MIT program trains you across Customer Service, Product Training, Inventory, Logistics, and Branch Management, with the opportunity to run a new branch after completion.

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in Marketing/Sales or Business and prior industry experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Marketing/Sales or Business degree.
• Two years of industry-related experience in Building Materials.
• Two years of work experience.
• Legal to work in the United States and able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations during the MIT program.
• Complete training modules across customer service, product training, inventory & logistics.
• Assist with inventory management and branch management training.
• Develop sales strategies to engage local contractors and customers.
