Job summary

Citizens- invites motivated individuals to join a hands-on Management Trainee program that builds broad knowledge and experience within Branch Delivery.

You’ll learn retail banking foundations through customer service, branch operations, relationship building, business development, and consumer lending, with mentorship and leadership development.

Extensive travel to assigned branches is required as part of the development path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2–4 years of experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive travel to assigned branch and department locations is required throughout the development program.
• Strong communication, leadership, customer service, relationship-building, and sales skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Branch Operations: gain hands-on experience with branch operations and controls to operate a safe, customer-focused branch.
• Customer Relationships & Service: develop skills to understand customer needs and connect them with C&N products.
• Business Development: learn how the bank attracts new business and builds community connections.
• Consumer Lending: build knowledge of lending processes, applications, and documentation.
• Leadership & Professional Development: participate in training, mentoring, and on-the-job growth.
