Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Production Technician to assemble and test electromechanical components for superconducting magnets. You will join a fast-paced team responsible for building and validating critical assemblies, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role requires 6+ years in mechanical or electrical assembly, hands-on experience with precision tools, and the ability to work in a structured, night shift environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalency certificate or higher.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in mechanical or electrical assembly.
• Experience with winding equipment of any type is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build a variety of electromechanical parts and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and detailed work instructions.
• Operate production, testing and high-powered magnet equipment.
