Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is offering an Assembly Technical Project Manager Intern role based onsite in Devens, MA. The 26-week internship provides hands-on planning and execution exposure under Senior TPMs, with 40–50 hours per week and site-specific pay scales.

We welcome students from bachelor’s through PhD levels who are authorized to work in the United States. Roles focus on coordinating engineering and assembly activities, tracking schedules, and delivering actionable status reports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree in project management, operations, or a related technical field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, accountable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, scheduling tools, or data visualization is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Devens, MA, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior and Principal TPMs in planning, scheduling, and tracking engineering and assembly projects.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and project data across Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and other tools.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials; track progress, identify risks, and escalation issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, follow up on action items, and support process improvements to enhance project execution and visibility.
