Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks Assembly Technical Project Manager Interns for a 26-week program on site in Devens, MA. The role supports planning, scheduling, and tracking engineering and assembly projects, using Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, and related tools.

Interns must be authorized to work in the United States and will engage in varied projects across teams. Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, preparing dashboards, and escalating risks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree in project management, operations, or a related technical field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, accountable, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication across technical and nontechnical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior and Principal TPMs in planning, scheduling, and tracking projects.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and data across Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and other tools.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials; track progress and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and support process improvements to enhance execution and visibility.
