Gardner--white-Furnitur is seeking a store manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in our Detroit showroom. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in retail or furniture management, a bachelor's in business administration or related field, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and CRM software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail or furniture sales/management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and CRM software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Oversees staff and staffing needs for regular hours, and events.
• Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures timely deposits and policy adherence.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and store metrics.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and timely.
• Ensure compliance with policies for merchandising, pricing, and customer interactions.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, budgets, and financial statements.
• Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to drive store traffic.
• Interviews and assists with training staff for the location.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed.
• Other duties/projects as assigned.
