Havertys in Wisconsin is seeking a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to help customers select furniture by understanding their needs and creating welcoming homes. You will guide clients from initial contact through delivery, delivering exceptional service and meeting sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer conversations.
• Positive and engaging personality.

• Ability to handle customer objections and ensure satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products.
• Proficient computer skills; MS Office and email required; tablet use preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service from contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and build relationships with a diverse customer base.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with the Interior Design Consultant.
• Reinforce customer selections and assist in completing room looks.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on customer needs.
• Use company-provided tablets and CRM for client information and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles and products.
