Job summary

METROPOLITAN WAREHOUSE AND DELIVERY in Carson, CA is seeking a seasoned Furniture Repair Technician to inspect, repair, restore, and refinish a wide range of furniture and related items in a shop environment. This role requires craftsmanship across wood, leather, fabric, ceramic, marble, metal, and other materials, with additional duties assisting Crating when workload is light.

Full-time position with hourly pay between $35 and $40, competitive safety standards, and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Experience repairing a wide range of furniture materials.
• Ability to assess damage and select repair solutions.
• Comfort with crate-building and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Inspect furniture to identify damage and estimate repairs.
• Repair, restore, and finish wood, leather, and fabric.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture safely.
• Assist Crating Department with crate construction.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and document work.
