Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician 1 to repair, restore, and inspect damaged merchandise. Work may occur in the shop or on the dock to ensure outbound shipments are free of damage.

The role requires 1–2 years experience with upholstery, wood, and leather repairs, and the ability to use the necessary tools. Strong lifting technique and safety with RF equipment are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years upholstery, fabrics, wood furniture, leather and veneer finishes experience.
• Able to use necessary tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify repair needs and follow SOPs to repair.
• Repair upholstery and wood components (stitching, panels, frames, drawers, doors).
• Achieve 80% restock to first quality.
• Identify proper quality disposition after inspection.
• Understand and assist with product assembly.
